Didnt work with update. Still the same issues: starts from the beginning, icons moves over the screen, progress bar is not showing buffering. Maybe ios 8.1 will fix those issues. Ill wait.

It stops playing the video and opens the app store every five minutes

There is a bug that dont let you search no matter what you do

Theres no background playback. The app uses safari like view and works the same way but with YouTube only.

Everything works as declared + updates on regular basis. Recommended.

With the last update it crash when I try to listen a playlist

After the latest update it completely stopped working on my iPad. Whenever I launch it, a blank screen appears for a few seconds and then the app crashes. Any fix to this in sight anytime soon?

The removal of background audio means theres not much use for this app anymore over using the YouTube mobile site, but I give it a bonus star because their UI is nicer. Bring back background audio.

The primary reason I used this app over the YouTube mobile site was for the background audio playback with a better interface. Now that its gone, theres not much reason left to use this. Bonus star is for the UI.

They had no choice but to remove background audio because of YouTube Red. Google wouldve sued these developers into the Stone Age if they didnt meet their request. Stop hating on the developers and threatening their lives. These are good people trying to make a living and not be sued out of existence. Excellent app, sorry Google made your lives harder.

The removal of background playing are you kidding me?! Thankfully I never update my apps. Thats the only reason people had YouPlayer so congratulations, you lost the majority of your demographic. Great job, guys! :)

The only reason that, after two years, I stuck with this abominable piece of trash, suffering through forced, unavoidable app closes for advertisements and terrible playback quality, is that I could run it in the background. No app should have such aggressive advertising (two ads in ten seconds!) and now that they have removed background playback, they will never be seeing my patronage again. Im just glad I never paid for this garbage while it lasted.
